About The Role

We are looking for a Sales Advisor to join us in our concessions within Goods, Kilkenny on a part time basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with an interest in fashion and styling.

Our Sales Advisors are the face of our business. Natural and friendly, you go out of your way to provide an outstanding experience to all our customers. You will enjoy working in a fashion retail environment and use your knowledge and training to provide customers with that perfect head-to-toe outfit!

Key accountabilities and KPIs include:

  • Greeting, assisting, and selling in a professional and consultative manner, identifying additional selling opportunities
  • Maintaining a high awareness of merchandising principles to deliver an inspirational picture of the TFG vision
  • Operating an electronic Point of Sale system, handling transactions accurately with dutiful care and attention
  • Assisting in all tasks required to ensure the smooth day to day running of the store

About You

As a Sales Advisor we will provide you with full training and ongoing support from the get-go to

ensure you have all the tools to succeed in your role. We will need you to be:

  • Reliable and motivated to fulfil the role, flexible enough to work on a rota basis and balance shifting priorities in store.
  • Engaging with excellent communication skills and flourish in a customer-facing environment
  • Focused on adding value and providing the best possible experience to our customers, taking pride in all that you do.

Shoe Suite Manager - Concession Store

Full Job Description

O'Dwyers Footwear have a concession manager position available. The candidate must be willing to work in their Shoe Suite concession in Goods Department store, Kilkenny. In addition, the candidate must be available to work mid-week & weekends. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role.

Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied, and you will contribute to the store’s profitability.

The job role and responsibilities include the following:

  • Driving forward sales and achieving company objectives
  • Maximising the profitability of the store,
  • Staff management, training and development,
  • Product analysis & feedback,
  • Efficient management of stock,
  • Achieving high customer service standards in-store,
  • Ensuring stock rooms and sales floors are clean and tidy at all times,
  • Maintaining appropriate stock levels in your shop and ensuring exceptional standards in housekeeping and visual merchandising,
  • Maintaining the security of the boutique premises, stock and all monies,
  • Maintaining appropriate staffing levels within budget
  • Completing and submitting all necessary paperwork to the Office
